How
to Add a New Mail Account in Microsoft Outlook
Firstly, you will
need the following information:
- Type of mail server you use -
POP3, IMAP or HTTP
- Your Account User Name and Password
- The name of the Incoming Mail
Server
- The name of the Outgoing Mail
Server
Globegate would have provided you
with all of these details, but if you havent got all of the information, please
contact us.
- On the Tools menu, Click
Services
- Click Add
- In the Available Information
Services box, click Internet E-mail, and then click OK
- On the General tab, type
a name for your new Internet E-mail account, and then type your user information
in the appropriate boxes.
- Click the Servers tab,
and then type your server information and logon information in the appropriate
boxes.
- Select any other options that
you want on the Connection and Advanced tabs
- Finally, Click OK.
